Promo work
DP Kevin Joelson offered me to work on two promos directed by his wife Rebecca for upcoming new TV shows. The first one for HBO’s Love Life and the second for Starz’s Ghost. I had a blast working on both, especially on Ghost where I had to operate some fun crane shots! I was assisted by 1st ACs John Oliveri and Isaac Banks. As you can see on the video below, we got it by a snow storm!

The commercial I operated on, along with DP Daniel Patterson, is out! It’s celebrating Jackie Robinson’s legacy and features his family members. For Budweiser.

Shampoo commercial
Another 2-day commercial for The Voice joined with Clear Shampoo. I’m pulling focus on a Sony F5 for Pierrot Colonna. Shooting in the beautiful United Palace on 175th and Broadway. Walter Rodriguez is on A camera with DP Anghel Decca.

Hoover commercial
This week I worked with Blake Alcantara on a Hoover commercial. Two Alexas, mine was dedicated to all the product shots. Macros, close-ups, pulling back. Some serious focus pulling. Glad to have John Reeves seconding to help me go through it!

Jambox commercial
Back from holidays, I worked this weekend on a commercial for the wireless speakers “Jambox”. A 1st AC was Brett Walters and I was on B camera with Ludovic Littee operating and Liz Hedges as my 2nd AC. Shot on the Alexa. As you can see on the photo, we were ready for some serious “jamming”… and we didn’t get disappointed!

Yesterday and today, I have been working on a fashion video shoot for the sunglasses Police. The creative crew is from Italy. DP is Steve Lambs. We are in the penthouse of Empire Lofts in midtown. Below of photo of the location… and the talent.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights Commercial

Toyota
I just finished a two days shoot for Toyota. We used the jib in its “Super” configuration (18ft). Simon Balderas directed these three spots, mixing interiors and exteriors, with most of the shots done with the crane. Watch the video below: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHwA1TM-hCA]

Commercial for “Busch Gardens”
Joshua Reis shot yesterday an Halloween commercial for the “Busch Gardens” theme park. It was a long day on location in this house in Los Angeles. Delfina Garfias was my 2nd AC/Loader.
