Day-playing on “5 to 7”
I met DP Arnaud Potier in 2008 on a Kid Cudy music video in Los Angeles. Based in Paris, he’s been shooting a feature in NYC for 3 weeks, and I gladly filled in for a day of exteriors in midtown.

Jambox commercial
Back from holidays, I worked this weekend on a commercial for the wireless speakers “Jambox”. A 1st AC was Brett Walters and I was on B camera with Ludovic Littee operating and Liz Hedges as my 2nd AC. Shot on the Alexa. As you can see on the photo, we were ready for some serious “jamming”… and we didn’t get disappointed!

Summer days on TV Shows
I have been happy to day play on a couple of TV shows since I am not working on a feature at the moment. I was called back on The Good Wife with Fred Murphy (DP), Rene Crout and Scott Koenigsberg (ACs). This week was also my first day on Royal Pains, thanks to Eric Robinson (AC), with Joe Collins (DP). They are both shot on the Alexa.

Very Good Girls
Only a couple of days after we finished “Blood Ties”, I joined the “Very Good Girls” crew led by Bobby Bukowski. Shot on the Alexa, I was on the B camera and also replaced Mike Burke for a week on A. Directed by Naomi Foner, the story is about “two New York City girls who pact to lose their virginity during their first summer out of high school. When they both fall for the same street artist, the friends find their connection tested for the first time”.

35mm or HD?
Yesterday, I assisted DP Bobby Bukowski in shooting camera tests for the feature Chronicle he is currently prepping. We tested the Arri Alexa vs. Arricam ST in different conditions: driving in a car, movements in the streets, night and low light, contrasts etc. Let’s see which one they will pick!

First job in New York
Just one month after moving to New York, I am working on my first local project, a music video for the band Toxic Avenger. Their song is called “Never Stop”. Produced by 35 East, it’s directed by Antoine Wagner, DP is Francisco Soriano. I am excited to use the Arri Alexa for the first time as well. I like this camera! We’re using this Cineped to roll around the loft we’re shooting in.
